Fort Ligonier Days will be held October 10, 11 and 12, 2008 in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. This year commemorates the 250th anniversary of the October 12, 1758 battle between British and French forces during the French and Indian War. Hear the roar of the cannons and thunder of musketry at battle demonstrations at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Visit the British and French military encampments, and journey back in time to an eighteenth century fort community. Experience the pageantry and color of Scottish Highlanders, American Provincial Troops and French Marines.

The fort is located approximately 12 miles from Exit 91 (Donegal) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the junction of U.S. Route 30 and PA Route 711. Fort Ligonier hours of operation for Fort Ligonier Days are Friday 10:00 a. m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday.
